Golden Rock Hotel (Kyaiktiyo)

The Golden Rock Hotel has an idyllic setting amidst lush tropical vegetation and aged-old rock, in the middle of the Kyaikhtiyo mountain, about 1.5kms/ 50min hike to Kyaikhtiyo/Golden Rock Pagoda atop the hill. It is 195kms from Yangon, and reachable by road from the Yathe Taung base camp. Nearby are Pink Sands Beach, Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, Tarpum Bay, and Rock Sound. Individual buildings are set on over 3 acres of wooded terrain on different elevations, ensuring each room’s privacy. 52 rooms comprise 44 Deluxe and 8 Standard rooms, replete with attached bathrooms (hot/cold shower), TV, A/c, IDD telephone and Mini bar/ Refrigerator.
