With six stunning mountain ranges and the sweep of the Bow Valley laid out before you, views from the Sulphur Mountain summit are nothing short of breathtaking. Enjoy the iconic Gondola ride, a mesmerizing stroll along the Boardwalk, gain interesting insights about Banff National Park at the Interpretive Center and experience a bird perspective at the multi-sensory Above Banff Theatre. (Starting Point: Banff Gondola Base, from where the Gondola ride up to the summit takes about 8 min. The Gondola Base is located near Banff Upper Hot Springs and the Rimrock Resort. Transfers are not included, unless we have selected this activity for you along with a private sightseeing tour by car. Drive yourself to the Gondola Base in your rental car, alternatively Roam Transit Line 1 busses operate every 30-45 min between downtown Banff and the Gondola base, a 20 min ride. Enjoy the breathtaking wilderness as you hike up one of the picturesque peaks and test your backcountry skills. Start at the Old Fort parking area and proceed for a 2.4-mile hike up a peak. En route, learn about the local flora and fauna, geology, and history of Jasper. This relaxing two-day trip will take you through western Canada from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to end at the coastal city of Vancouver, with an overnight stopover at Kamloops. Pass the stunning river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Look out for the Yellowhead Pass, Mount Robson and the Pyramid Falls.
