Enjoy exhilarating game in a private game reserve, or lace up your boots for a walk into the bushveld, all arranged by the lodge. Experience the thrill of riding through open savannah grasslands teeming with wildlife. The Reserve offers sightings of South Africa’s Big Five, your iconic African safari experience. Look out for prides of lions, solitary leopards, herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, as well as rhinos. Watch herds of wildebeest, impala and kudu run along the parklands, alongside your safari jeep. The bush walk experience in the company of your local guide is just as exciting. Expect to find flocks of birds and unique bush plants as you walk along the lake by the game lodge. If you’re lucky, you could catch the African fish eagle in action. Spot Cape starlings, jacanas, giant kingfishers, storks and herons along the lakefront.
