Our internship and mentorship programs continue to create opportunities for youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We believe that sustainability starts with our homes, or in this case, our offices across the world. These office initiatives include reducing plastic and paper, recycling, minimizing carbon emissions and investing in carbon mitigating measures, as well as creating staff awareness. We are still striving to reduce waste in our operations, but our efforts have earned many of our offices a Travelife Partner Certificate for green operations.
What We Do
Our global teams are passionate about making a positive impact on their respective office environments and communities. We are proud to declare that our office space is free of single-use plastic. We carry out waste segregation and recycling in our premises, besides minimizing our printer usage to ensure there are no printed travel documents. Whether it is conducting clean-up drives around our offices or encouraging flexible working hours long before the pandemic came into effect, we have been taking small but powerful steps to ensure our offices reflect our commitment to responsible travel.
As a pilot in our Asian countries, we have removed all plastic bottles from our guest vehicles, and our goal is to ensure that our guest vehicles are free of single-use plastic in the long run.
Enchanting Travels’ offices in Germany, India, Kenya and the USA have received the Travelife Partner Certificate by complying with more than 100 criteria related to office management, product range, international business partners and customer information. Travelife is a certification dedicated to achieving sustainable practices within the tourism industry. It provides companies with realistic sustainability goals, tools and solutions to implement positive change within their businesses and supply chains. This award is a recognition for the long-term efforts and frontrunner position regarding sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Community Initiatives
Our teams in Nairobi and Bengaluru are actively involved in several creative initiatives aimed at improving the neighborhood.
- Team members in our India offices volunteer with The Ugly Indian, an initiative aimed at cleaning public parks and streets.
- Our Nairobi team frequently conducts clean-up drives around the city and its many tourist spots.
