“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” Walter lives by this quote from Saint Augustine. Soon after he completed his studies, wanderlust had him set him off for a 10-month journey to explore his home country, the USA, and his favorite continent — Asia. He took two road trips across the US and spent six months in Asia, where he spent time absorbing the local culture, cuisines, and natural beauty.
Walter earned his Masters degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management even as he was working in IT Management at Temple University, Philadelphia. He is thrilled to finally be in a position at Enchanting Travels where his passion and experience are aligned.
A resident of Denver, Colorado, Walter loves the outdoors. He spends his free time rock climbing, hiking, camping, and skiing. On weekends, he explores new places with his wife and their husky, Crosby. He also loves to read, cook, and play strategy games.
MOST ENCHANTING TRAVEL
My most enchanting travel experience was scuba diving at Raja Ampat in West Papua, Indonesia. It took three flights and two boat rides to reach the islands from neighboring Malaysia, which made the place feel so remote. The islands are pristine, and the diving allowed me to explore some of the most colorful and beautiful coral reefs I’ve ever seen. I had hundreds of tropical fish swirling around me, and even saw a giant clam that was bigger than me!

Keep a travel journal and write down all your experiences — big and small, good and bad. It’s a joy to live the experience again through your entries.
