Enchanting Travels was started in 2004 with one purpose – to redefine transformational and authentic travel around the world through our destination expertise, local presence and support, and a passionate team who genuinely care.
Today, we are proud to have created a truly multicultural company with people from diverse backgrounds at every level. From our leadership team to our offices around the world, we are proud of the incredible national and cultural diviersity represented at Enchanting Travels. Across our company, we are split almost evenly between outstanding men and women from 25 nationalities working in more than 20 countries. What unites us is our true passion for travel.
The world has changed since we began our journey, but our mission has remained the same – we enrich lives by sharing the joy of personalized travel with passion, ethics and genuine connection.
We believe that travel opens our hearts and minds, allowing us to engage with different cultures from around the world, and find beauty in this diversity. We craft experiences that allow our guests to go deeper into new cultures, build relationships with the people they meet, and feel connected to the places they explore.

We have an international presence with teams of local experts on staff around the globe.
We win the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards for “World’s Leading Tour Operator” multiple years running.
In 20 years of making travel dreams come true we have helped more than 60,000 guests travel to 80+ destinations around the world. We are very proud of our 4.9 star rating on Trustpilot, as it reflects the genuine care we put into each guest’s journey.
2023
We continue to expand with new destinations including Egypt and Jordan.
We bounce back from COVID-19 travel disruptions to grow the company to three times its size in 2019.
Our growing team includes members from more than 25 nationalities and 20 countries.
2020
This year COVID-19 changed all of our lives. With backing from the world’s second largest investment firm, we have a strong partner behind us to overcome this challenge.
We are using the time for the largest destination expansion in our history and are adding 20 destinations in Europe, North America, Oceania, East Asia and the Polar Regions to our portfolio.
2019
We become a part of Travelopia, the world’s largest collection of specialist travel companies.
We expand our collection to include Europe and Oceania.
We are proud to receive the 2019 Travel Weekly Magellan Gold Award for being the World’s Leading Tour Operator – Overall.
2018
We expand our offerings in Latin America and Morocco.
2017
We add Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Tibet, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Colombia to our collection.
2014
We form our umbrella brand, Enchanting Travels, from our four destination brands – Enchanting India, Africa, Asia & South America.
We open our first US office in Denver and celebrate our 10 year anniversary as a company.
2014
We receive the Go Asia Award for our unique travel itineraries in Southeast Asia.
2013
Co-Founder Florian Keller travels from his adopted home in Nairobi to watch the Football World Cup final in Rio, Brazil. Traveling on road, he journeys through several continents, accompanied by various team members who join in at different stages of the trip.
2011
Darden Graduate School of Business in Virginia makes us a case study for our unique approach as a travel company.
We received our first travel partner award from Taj Hotel Resorts & Palace.
2010
Our team in India set out for Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand, which we soon add to our collection.
2009
We receive the Taj Award for the fastest growing travel company for India tours from the renowned Taj Group.
2008
We launch in South America, openning our first office in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
2007
The first of many team-building trips, we travel to Goa.
2006
The addition of Africa, our first physical presence with an office in Nairobi, Kenya.
2005
We add other Asian countries to our collection, including Sri Lanka & the Maldive Islands.
2004
Enchanting Travels (Enchanting-India back then) is born in Munich, Germany.
We head off on our first official test trip in India.
