Devika was born with the spirit of a traveler. Originally from India, she was raised in Zambia and Ghana, and following a Bachelor’s in Economics from UPenn’s Wharton School, USA, she has traveled extensively in the Americas, India and Southeast Asia. It was during one of her journeys across India in 2013 that she crossed paths with Enchanting Travels, where she has worked ever since.
Starting with digital marketing, Devika moved on to sales and headed the North America regional sales team, before taking on a crucial role in project management. More recently, she found her true calling as a brand technology partner – an essential liaison between Enchanting Travels and the central technology team of our parent organization, the Travelopia Group. Her decade-long association with us and the diverse roles she has essayed, have given Devika an overview into all aspects of the business. She utilizes these insights to define the roadmap of technology projects, ensure project delivery and assist with change management, infosec and compliance.
Devika remains passionate about travel and the outdoors and enjoys practising yoga and dance in her free time. She is currently based out of Guatemala and uses every opportunity to explore more of Latin America.
MOST ENCHANTING TRAVEL
After getting married, my husband and I embarked on a nine-month adventure across India and Southeast Asia. We traversed countries from head to toe, crossed most borders by land and spent our time immersing ourselves in the local life. From helping construct an eco-resort in Cambodia and learning about spirituality in the Himalayas to swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines, it was the most enchanting way to experience the raw beauty, depth and rich culture of Asia.
Travel has been life-changing for me in the most soulful and enriching ways. Our world has the ability to inspire, touch and truly amaze — we only have to let it!
