MOST ENCHANTING TRAVEL
Traveling is my greatest passion, and one trip stands out above all others—an expedition around Svalbard, a remote island near the North Pole. Each day was filled with surprises, from unpredictable sea conditions to the ever-changing weather and abundant wildlife.
One unforgettable day, we navigated through thick fog in zodiacs to reach “White Island,” where we witnessed four polar bears feeding on a whale carcass. As the fog lifted, we were captivated by a herd of walrus mothers and their calves swimming nearby, and then the clouds cleared to reveal a towering glacier stretching for miles. In that moment, surrounded by nature’s raw beauty, time seemed to stand still.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.
