Country Lodge Karatu

Country Lodge Karatu is located right on the edge of Karatu town in northern Tanzania, amidst beautiful and hilly coffee plantations. Midway between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this simple lodge is an ideal stepping stone to break a long journey, and offers a tranquil space as birds and butterflies flutter around the attractive floral garden. There are eleven en suite bungalows within the lodge, all of which are shaped around a swimming pool, where you can refresh yourself between safari activities. Each of the bungalows have a king-sized or twin bed, and a fireplace that can be lit to keep you cozy on chilly nights. Tuck into tasty, fresh meals of both African and European cuisine in the restaurant, or relax by the fireplace in the bar, with a drink in hand.
