Start your day with a drive to Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has a well-preserved primeval palm forest, home to six endemic palm species, especially the coco de mer, which has the largest seed in the world. The forest has over 5,000 palms and a diverse variety of flora and fauna including the rare Seychelles black parrot and Seychelles skink. Then head to Anse Lazio, one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. It has crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft, fine golden-sandy beach with huge granite boulders, takamaka and palm trees. You could have lunch at the beachside restaurant and spend a few hours enjoying the sun and sand, or continue beach-hoping to Anse Volbert and Côte D’Or.
